AIR Institute and Global Exchange Tecnologías Digitales present the 1st Padel Tech Tournament in collaboration with the Salamanca City Council

This week, as part of the Salamanca Tech initiative to make the city a benchmark in technology and innovation, AIR Institute, the City Council and Global Exchange Tecnologías Digitales (GETD) presented the first paddle tennis tournament aimed at tech sector employees.

The inauguration ceremony took place at GETD's facilities, where the 26 registered pairs attended, who will compete for more than a month, from 7 May to 18 June. The winning pair will enjoy a one-week all-expenses-paid trip to the Dominican Republic. During the ceremony, the participants learned about the work of the organising entities, as well as their opponents and about the details of the competition.

The matches will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on 7 May at 19:00 at the GETD headquarters (Calle Lagunas de Villafáfila, nº 35, Parque Empresarial ‘El Montalvo II’, 37008, Salamanca).
