AIR Institute, ICE, and the Chamber of Commerce present Centr@tec, Kit Digital and Acelera Pyme programs to Salamanca entrepreneurs

On 18 July, a meeting took place at the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca on "Oficina Acelera Pyme and the Digital Kit: An Opportunity for the Digitalization of SMEs and the Self-Employed". An event organized by AIR Institute in collaboration with the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) and the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca.

About 30 entrepreneurs and businessmen participated in the activity. An informative workshop that will open the doors to future actions and collaborations on the part of the entrepreneurs and the participating institutions.

The workshop was attended by Juan Manuel Corchado, President of AIR Institute, who opened the event and presented the Centr@tec program to the attendees, as well as the opportunities of this project to meet the needs of small businesses, microenterprises and self-employed workers who wish to digitize their business.

For his part, José Francisco Diego Calvo, territorial director of the ICE, presented the lines of aid for digitization for companies in Castilla y León offered by this institution, which allow to give a boost to the business fabric of the community. 

Finally, Cristina Timón, from the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca, presented the Digital Kit programs, a public initiative of economic aid financed by the Next Generation EU funds. The objective of this program is to subsidize the implementation of digital solutions available on the market, to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.

Also, the Oficina Acelera Pyme program seeks to promote digital transformation through the cultivation of culture for the adoption and permanent use of ICTs in business strategies. Oficina Acelera Pyme offers assistance as well as key tools that maximize productivity and competitiveness, both nationally and internationally.
